VHMonsys served as Mobile Project Monitoring System for Hong Kong Housing Authority

VHMonsys, a project management system that combines the highly flexible PDA with desktop workstation, was successfully applied in Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) - HA Mobile Computing Pilot Project, Project 5 - Site Supervision & Records System (SSRS).

A LAN-base site supervision records system has been implemented at Yau Oi Estate's Works Order as internal communication platform for HA's Building Services, Building Works & Estate Management staff and at Tin Shui Wai Estate's Works Order as site supervision and external communication tool for HA site staff & maintenance contactors.

By using mobile PDA, efficiency and effectiveness of HA Maintenance & Management Operation can be greatly enhanced. Coupled with the use of digital camera attached at the PDA, HA staff can take photographs and mark reference on PDA directly.
